The Impact of Overpopulation:
Growing numbers in any type of population can have adverse effects to numerous other things. According to the Center for Biological Diversity, the massive increase in human population over the past few years is having major negative impacts on the natural resources of different lands. The larger the population is, the harder it is for people to get an equal amount of food and natural resources. If humans continue to overpopulate, we could possibly see a soar in gas prices and everyday resources because they are harder to come by. The growing human population also has its effects on animals as well. Many species that were abundant in North America a couple of centuries ago are no longer as large in population or close to extinct. Woodland Bison, Merriam's Elk, and even Rocky Mountain Grasshoppers, have all gone extinct due to the rise of human population.
